What we do, and what it costs.

Every price on this page is the whole price. Flat fees, quoted before work starts, no hourly meter, no surprise invoice. If something doesn't fit these packages, we'll tell you, and quote it as a fixed number before anything begins.

Contract Review

$750 · 3 business days

Someone sent you a contract. Before you sign it, know what it actually says. You get a marked-up version showing what to push back on and a plain-English memo explaining what each change protects you from. If the contract requires insurance from you, we check those requirements against your actual policies as part of the same review. A contract you can't insure is a promise you can't keep.

Founder and Startup Legal Pack

$1,950 · 7 business days

Everything a new company needs to be built right. Filing the LLC takes an afternoon. Whether the company actually protects you is decided by what comes next. The Pack is four pieces:

Entity Choice and Cleanup

Should you be an LLC or a corporation, and does an S election make sense? That question is the part LegalZoom charges extra to answer; here it's where the work starts, coordinated with your accountant on the tax side. We verify the company was set up right, fix what wasn't, and put a real single-member operating agreement in place, the document banks and investors ask for first. This is what keeps your personal assets separate from the business's problems.

PIIA

The agreement that makes sure the company owns what gets built by the people building it, founders included, not just future hires. Without it, the person who wrote your code or designed your product still owns it, and that surfaces at the worst possible moment: an investment, a sale, or a falling-out. This one covers your own team, the Independent Contractor Agreement below covers everyone outside it.

Independent Contractor Agreement

Anyone who builds something for you signs this, and the company owns the result. Without express assignment language, work you paid a contractor for can legally remain theirs. This document closes that door, and keeps the relationship clearly outside employment. Where the PIIA above covers your own team, this covers everyone outside it.

Mutual NDA

The document you send before sensitive conversations, so exploring a deal doesn't mean giving away how your business works.

Hiring soon? Offer letters, employment agreements, and restrictive covenants are available as an add-on. Ask when we talk.

Multi-Member Operating Agreement

$1,750 · turnaround TBD

For companies with more than one owner. Who's making decisions, who gets a vote, what happens if someone leaves, and how profits and losses actually get split, all the questions a single-member agreement doesn't have to answer. Built as an add-on alongside the Founder and Startup Legal Pack, or on its own if the entity work is already done.

Contract Template Stack

$3,500 · 10 business days

Everything the Pack includes, plus the paper to start selling. New clients get the PIIA, Independent Contractor Agreement, and mutual NDA as part of this. Already bought the Pack? See the graduate path below, you won't pay twice for what you already own.

Master Services Agreement

The foundation. Payment terms, liability limits, and ownership rules set once, on your paper instead of theirs, so every new client starts from terms that protect you.

Statement of Work Template

New projects get papered in minutes. Scope, price, and deadlines drop into a form already wired to the MSA, so a quick project never quietly waives the protections you set. A built-in change order section means mid-project changes get papered in minutes too, instead of by email and hope.

One full Contract Review included. Because a business at this stage is already fielding contracts from customers and vendors. Your next inbound contract gets the full $750 review as part of the Stack.

Already have the Pack? Add the selling layer for $1,550, the MSA, SOW, and a Contract Review, priced so you never pay twice for what you already own. Start with the Pack at $1,950, add this when you're ready to sell, and you pay $3,500 total, exactly what the full Stack costs. No penalty for growing into it.

Outside GC

starting at $1,750/mo

A lawyer on the team, without the cost or timeline of hiring one. Most legal problems are cheap to prevent and expensive to fix after the fact. Outside GC means someone is already looking before a contract goes out the door, not after it comes back broken, built for a business that has moved past occasional legal help and needs it built into how the company runs.

Two Contract Reviews Every Month

Every inbound or outbound agreement, reviewed on the same turnaround as a standalone review, at no additional charge.

Unlimited Quick Questions

Email or call with whatever comes up, an employee question, a vendor request, a clause you don't understand. Answered within one business day, never billed by the minute.

Quarterly Check-In

A standing review of what's changed in the business and what's coming, so legal work gets ahead of growth instead of reacting to it.

One Flat Monthly Price

Adjust scope or pause at any month boundary. No retainer drawing down against an hourly rate, no surprise balance.

Most businesses this size are choosing between two bad options: no legal help until something breaks, or hourly billing that punishes them for asking questions. Outside GC is neither. It's a lawyer who already knows the business, answering before problems start instead of untangling them after.

Select Engagements

Some work doesn't fit a menu.

Launching an MGA or program, auditing your full contract stack against your full insurance program, expanding into new states, team and employment document builds, keeping a licensed insurance business compliant, and the documents that deserve real negotiation, founder and vesting arrangements, buy-sell agreements, SAFEs and convertible notes. Those we scope in a conversation and quote as a fixed number before work starts.
